Educational

Farraige-QHSE provides a professional Health & Safety service to schools that allows for the complexity of the school work environment and the restrictions of the school year.

Our service will adapt to the school whether it be an old school with multiple buildings or a modern school designed to the highest standards. School Development Planning is an evolving process in the Irish Education system allowing a systematic approach to the varied factors involving the school community. One of those factors is the Health, Safety and Welfare at Work of Staff and their charges.

The Education Act 1998(Section 15) bestows a responsibility on school Boards of Management to ensure that the school is run in accordance with the relevant Acts of the Oireachtas. These include the requirement to have a Safety Statement under the Safety, Health & Welfare at Work Act 2005 and other responsibilities under the General Application Regulations 2007. We provide a free assessment of the needs of the school which allows the board to make a decision on what is needed for the school based on solid evidence.
